Hi! I've (Lorna) decided to start a blog for our family. I don't make the time to sit down with my pen and paper and write down things that we do or milestones that Lily's reached...and all of our pictures are digital these days. Plus, I'm at a computer practically all day, so I might as well make something good of it!
A little background info on us: Jonathan & I were married on July 17, 2004 in the LDS Salt Lake temple. We lived in Utah for a year after that, when we moved to Lansdowne, VA (in July 2005). Jonathan has worked at Flooring Solutions (a commercial flooring company) since August 2005. He recently got promoted to Lead Estimator! I've worked at AOL since August 2005, starting as a temp ordering food for the employees that work late (Baja Fresh & PF Changs, to name a few - YUM!), and at the beginning of this year I started as an Administrative Assistant to a VP of the company. We found out we were pregnant on Labor Day 2006, found out we were having a girl on December 8. I was due on May 16, 2007...but Lillian May didn't come until May 20. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 in. long. That is a story in itself, but I can say that she was definitely worth everything. She's such a great baby - and so much fun! Anyway, Jonathan and I are still working - I work most of the time from home, but I go into work twice a week for 3 hours. And Jonathan is still working on school.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep this up to date with fun pictures! Most of them will likely be of Lily, but I'm sure no one will mind! Until next time!

Hooray! Welcome to the blogosphere. I'm so excited to see some more Lily pics. That is one cute baby! And...I love the look of your blog. Gonna have to give mine some personal touch sometime.
ReplyDeleteJust dropping in. Now we can kinda keep up to date on each other. Good old internet, what would we do without it? I guess you wouldn't have a job... among other things. And thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting that you guys have a blog, it's so fun to keep updated!
